Style Shop CO Managers

Co-Managers are responsible for running the entire business and oversee all style shop teams. Our managers remodel the entire store each year with a brand new theme. They also facilitate weekly meetings, create a team environment, and ensure a smooth flow of daily operations.

Jennifer Cody, Style Shop Co-Manager

Hi! My name is Jennifer Cody, I am currently a senior majoring in Fashion Business Management. I have a double specialization in Buying and Planning and Product Development. I also have a double minor in Economics and Italian Studies. I have been a member of MS since my freshman year and have loved every experience the club has been able to offer!

During my last three years at FIT I have been heavily involved in the Merchandising Society. My sophomore year I was on the designer buying team and last year I was the finance assistant manager. Being apart of the club has allowed me to make so many amazing friends and gain invaluable experiences that I can bring with me to my future career. The club has given me the opportunity to intern at amazing companies such as Macy’s, Alice & Olivia, and Marc Jacobs.

As Co-Manager of the Style Shop, along side Jessica Grossman, we are responsible for developing and overseeing the Style Shop teams. As well as running the day-to-day task to create a smooth experience for both the team and customers. My goal as Co-Manager is to create a welcoming environment for everyone to get to know one another and become friends.

Along with being apart of the Merchandising Society I am a tutor on campus in FBM related courses. Also, last Fall I had the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy. While abroad I had the opportunity to visit many new cities and countries. I had an experience of a lifetime and recommended all FIT students to take advantage of studying abroad.

I am looking forward to an amazing year and am grateful to represent such as amazing club!

Jessica Grossman, Style Shop Co-Manager

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Grossman. I am currently a junior at FIT majoring in Fashion Business Management with a specialization in Buying and Planning and a minor in Economics. I have been involved with Merchandising Society, especially the Style Shop side since Freshman year growing with positions within the club.

I started as the Store Operations Assistant Manager where I learned all about the functions of the Style Shop and built incredible friendships with the Seniors running the club. As a Sophomore I was the Planning Assistant Manager. In this position I was able to look at the store in a financial perspective which will definitely help me in my position as Co-Manager this year.

My favorite part of Merchandising Society is the relationships and connections I've made. Not only did I gain multiple internships through my friends in the club (Century 21 Department Store and Modell's Sporting Goods to name a few), I also gained life-long friend
